Thomas Raymond Markusson

Thomas Raymond Markusson, 68, died Friday, September 2, 2016 in Reston, Va., following a long illness. Thomas was born March 5, 1948 in Akron, Ohio to Raymond and Dorothy Markusson. He graduated from Grove City College, married his wife Patricia and entered the US Air Force where he served as an officer for 7 years. Following his time in the service he had a long rewarding career with the federal government before retiring fully in 2015. He was a loving family man who enjoyed time with his wife, 2 children and 4 grandchildren and he was an avid and accomplished golfer.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 45 years, Patricia Markusson; son Thomas Markusson, Jr and wife Dustee; daughter Laura Rossi and husband James; and grandchildren Grace and Haley Markusson and Isabella & Luke Rossi. He is also survived by his brother Dennis and wife Nanci, niece Staci and many other extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents and nephew Erik Markusson.
