Our family has so many happy memories of cousin Richie and Ann Lundberg. All 6 of us visited Richie and Ann Lundberg in Iceland in 1997 for 10 glorious days. We visited them in Vienna ,Virginia several times. They visited our family many times over the years. I called Ann on her birthday on January 20th and had a pleasant visit. Our whole family are heartbroken over Ann’s passing. She has never recovered from her beloved Richie’s passing. She is at peace now. May God be with her family during this sad time and in the coming days and weeks ahead. Our heartfelt love and sympathy to each of you. Sincerely, Bob and Marcia Brown and family
Thank you.

Ann and Richard and I served together in Helsinki many years ago and they were both treasured friends, always joyous and happy. I deeply regretted Richard’s passing and am deeply saddened with Ann’s passing. In her memory and in lieu of flowers I have donated $100.00 to the Salvation Army.
Thank you

Is that where the “bracelet” was found?
Hi, I discovered this site late, but still just want leave a note. Ann and my mom, Pat [Brockhoff] Vavoso were lifelong friends dating back to high school at Jamaica High in Hollis, Queens. Last I talked with Ann was around the time my mom died in August 2020. Ann and my mom didn’t get to see each other often, but they always managed to connect every few years. My mom would always tell me how much they laughed whenever they got together. I just happened to be looking at their 1954 Jamaica High yearbook today. At the front of the yearbook is this dedication:
“We, the graduating class of 1954, wish to dedicate this Yearbook to the ideal of world peace. In these troubled times, we are striving toward a true and lasting peace which can only be achieved when each individual accepts and abides by the democratic principles of freedom, equality, and brotherhood. We, the men and women of the future, hereby dedicate ourselves to the task of preserving these ideas in America and of supporting those organizations which are working to spread them throughout the world, and, above all, we vow to carry them out in our daily lives, as it is in this way that we can best work toward world peace.”
I know Ann and Richard lived that vow and I am struck by how much the ideals of this dedication are needed today more than ever. –Tom Vavoso
