Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Karen was a BEST friend, a real sweetheart with lots of love to share and such a generous soul. I will miss her deeply. She was like a sister to me, an Aunt to my children and a grandma to my Grandchildren. She was definitely an extension of my family and there whenever needed. We shared many beautiful moments. I will never forget her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you and I am so sorry for your loss. I look forward to seeing all of you at the Celebration of her Life. Mary Jo

  2. Karen and I were classmates at New Castle Senior High, and were both members of the Latin club, and shared in other school activities. I remember Karen very well, as a kind, pretty, and intelligent young woman. I regret having lost contact with her, because for all these years, we both lived in the D.C. area and could have had a great friendship. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

  3. My condolences to Karen’s family. I have the missed trips to Virginia to visit Anne and Karen. Karen was so warm and welcoming always making us feel so at home and never minding our silliness. I know many of those who have met her will miss her deeply. Karen always brought a smile those around her. To her family, my thoughts and prayers of comfort are with you.

  4. I was so saddened to hear of Karen’s passing at the beginning of April. I wish I had known she was ill. We were both nurses at INOVA Fairfax Hospital in the GE Lab. We had many conversations and laughs together. But my fondest memory is our trip to Germany and Austria. We laughed so hard, we cried. I loved her kindness, humility, and caring way for everyone she met. I wanted to attend her memorial, but had to be out of state for a family event. I thought of her on Saturday afternoon, and am keeping her, and all of you, in my prayers. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord, and may Perpetual Light shine upon her. May she Rest In Peace.

  5. To all of the Jacob family, I am so sorry about Karen’s passing. She was a good, caring and loving person and I will miss her. Sorry I was away for her memorial and couldn’t attend but I send all my love and condolences
