Guestbook

  1. I am sorry to hear of the death of Bill. He was a well liked coworker. I especially remember his pleasant manner, whenever you met Bill and always in a hurry. I will remember him in my prayers. May the Lord welcome him into His heart.

  2. I was shocked to hear of his passing. I worked many years with Bill and he was always willing to listen, provide guidance and friendship. I know he is in God’s arms now. May your family find comfort in knowing he is at peace.

  3. My prayers include and thoughts are with Bill and his family. Though many years ago I remember working with him at WNY and he was my supervisor for a time.

  4. We have had the pleasure of being Bill’s neighbor for close to 11 years. We will always remember Bill’s jokes and his laughter. He loved life and was always very positive. We love him and will miss him. God Bless You. With Love, The Cooper Family

  5. Michael Tyler – My wife and I are neighbors of Bill and Carolyn and just got to know Bill in the past year. In just a year we definitely got to know him very well and will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you…God Bless…

  6. My prayers go out to the family> I had the honor of working with Mr. Windle for many years. He was a wonderful supervisor didn’t mind letting his employees advance. We even had a lunch time bible study at the WNY and he would attend. That really touched my heart. Bill you will always be remembered and thank you for all you done to get me started in my government career.

  7. Carolyn and Daughter’s. I am so sorry for your lost. William was my supervisor and we were also friends. He was our Historian at our work Bible Study at the Navy Yard. I put his retirement luncheon together and we had a grand time. My heart is so heavy right now, words cannot express my feelings. I will keep all of you in my prayers. I feel as if I know each of you daughter’s personally. I am truly bless to have had William in my life. Patricia {P. J.) James-Douglass. PJJD33@aol.com

  8. I also attended the Bible Class at the WNY with Bill Windle. I would watch Bill’s expression when he shared with us the history of the bible verses he would be full of energy. My condolence goes out to his wife Carolyn and his children and family. God continue to give you strength.

  9. Carolyn and Family, I knew Bill from when he was a Lieutenant in the Navy teaching classes at NAVCOSSACT. And, I worked with him for many years as a fellow supervisor. He was always working to manage the continuous changes SPAWAR brought forward. He was creative and thus successful with his actions. I know words cannot comfort the sorrow you must be feeling, but hopefully you can take some comfort knowing that His will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. R. Schell

  10. Bill served as my supervisor at the WNY for many years. Last time we met was at a Fairfax County Election Officer training class. Like others, I enjoyed joining him in the WNY Bible study sessions. Bill encouraged all who worked for him. Our prayers are with his wife Carolyn and their extended family. Barry and Georgianna
