  1. So saddened to now know of your passing my dear Pat. What memories I have of you with all the meal preps, doctors officies, and icecream smoothies we made, and the difficult conversations GOD included . You were tough, but soft at your deepest core. I am so glad our paths crossed and I got to know the real You with tume. You showed your love to me in so many ways. Will always remember your 3 advice you gave me:
    1. Don’t marry a guy with adult children
    2. Don’t buy a house
    3. Don’t get old.
    Will miss you,
    Your Jema.

  2. I am saddened to hear of your passing Miss Patty. My mother just called and told me the news. I cannot believe time slipped away enough for me to lose contact with you after your move. The last time we spoke, you were moving to the Carolina’s and downsizing your lifelong possessions. I loved our random chats on the phone about life, the fun advice you’d offer with your comedic quips, and house sitting for you when you went out of town. I remember when I first met you. I was a young teenager. My mom was Vivian’s petsitter, your house sitter, and at times Paul’s caretaker. After Paul’s passing, and after my mom moved away and I was an adult, you hired me to be your house sitter and sometimes I’d stop by for no reason if I was in your area. I brought my first baby to come see you and you so adored her! You were a constant in my life like a grandmother or an auntie when I didn’t have any in Virginia.

Then you moved and I forgot to ask you for your cell phone number 🙁 Then I moved and we lost touch. I will forever remember your firecracker personality and your very caring and loving moments with me and my mom. I adored your laugh. Thank you for the wonderful memories and for opening your home and your heart to my family <3 I will miss you.
