Anthony Daniel Lutz

June 13, 1926 ~ January 12, 2016
Anthony Daniel Lutz was born in Chicago on June 13, 1926 to Anna Zimmer Lutz and Killian Karl Lutz, and called to Eternal Life January 12, 2016. He is survived by his wife Sue Ann LaVoie Lutz; son Michael Anthony Lutz and his children Tiffany Lutz, Brennan Lutz, and Anne Lutz; and son Matthew Alan Lutz and his children Joshua Lutz and Madeleine Lutz.
He was an intellectual and scholar who consistently championed for Truth and Freedom in all areas of his life, spiritual and secular. He served his country an an Army Officer and later as a civilian. He fought with valor in Vietnam from 1965-1967, receiving the Bronze Star, Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, as well as other citations.
Anthony truly believed the most important things in life are God, Family, and Country. He was a devoted servant of the Lord, husband, father, and grandfather. He leaves a genuine legacy of love, integrity, and commitment to Truth. Anthony's Life Celebration will be held at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Sunday, January 17 from 4 to 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1020 Springvale Rd., Great Falls, VA 22066 on Monday, January 18 at 12 p.m. Interment at Quantico National Cemetery on Tuesday, January 19 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to one of the following:
