To the Bender brothers and their families, I am so sorry for your loss. Your parents were dear friends of my parents, and I remember them fondly from my earliest years. I was happy to help your mother with her yard and landscape just a few years back. Always a sweet lady with a big smile. When the holidays would come, every year we would look forward to “Mrs. Bender’s coffee cake.” I can clearly imagine the sound of her voice and the kindness that she always showed our family. God bless you all and thank God for the beautiful memories I will keep of our parents together.
We have known her for many years and will miss her..
So sorry to hear of her passing. My mom use to talk about her from time to time as they attended VPC. She also lived next door to my dad, Web Brown for the past two years at Sunrise Assisted Living in Oakton. I use to walk by her room at Sunrise on my way to my dad’s room. Although I did not know her personally, she seemed like a lovely woman. Rest in peace.
