Brenda Johnson Davis Dorchak

brenda dorchak
Brenda Johnson Davis Dorchak died on April 25, 2017. Some believed she died from so much love for her family, however, her battle with cancer the last 5 years was more likely the actual cause. She tried to not complain and never questioned her disease, but instead lived and loved her life, family, and friends.

Brenda was born December 18, 1942. She is the wife of Ed Dorchak, mother of Carlyn, Betty, Wendy and John, mother-in-law to Mark Hamilton, Bill Saba, Susie Davis, and Steve Julias. Her grandchildren, Luke, Nathan, Samantha, William, Marissa, and Abby, gave her much joy and happiness as well as the rest of her family. She is also survived by her brothers Richard and Clifford and her sisters-in-law, Judy, Peggy, Skip, and Nancy. Her parents, Paul and Ressie Johnson, are deceased as well as her brothers sister Betty and brothers Paul, Jack, Melvin, Jerry, and Jimmy and her brother-in-law Larry. Her niece and nephews Larry, Rick, Steve, Julie, and Jeff are also deceased. Brenda has a very extended family of nieces and nephews all the way back to make her a great, great, great aunt. Family meant the most to Brenda. She knows that her family will continue to love and help each other and that was her goal in life: to have family that would continue loving each other long after she is gone.

A Visitation will be held at Money & King, 171 W. Maple Avenue, Vienna, VA 22180 on Monday May 1 from 10-11am immediately followed by a funeral service. Interment at National Memorial Park on Lee Highway in Falls Church will follow.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Tunnell Cancer Center, Lewes, Delaware. Online condolences and fond memories of Brenda may be offered to the family at www.moneyandking.com
