Elizabeth J. Reed passed away on Friday June 18th, 2021.
She was born on December 31, 1929 in Oakland, California. She was pre-deceased by her first husband of 15 years, John J. Nussbaumer - who died in service to his country in the Vietnam War; second husband of 43 years, William F. Reed Jr.; and daughter, Patricia A. Reed.
She is survived by her 5 adult children, Carol (David), Keith, Terr, David and Cathy (Dana), along with her 6 grandchildren Hans (Noelle), Ethan (Miriam), Ryder, Christine, Caroline and Kira, and also her 4 great-grandchildren Hatch, Quinn, Xavier and Ben.
Services for Elizabeth will be held Friday, November 5, 2021, 9:00 AM, at the Ft. Myer Old Post Chapel followed immediately by internment at Arlington National Cemetery. Attendees are asked to enter the base at the Hatfield Gate (Washington Boulevard at South 2nd Street).
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) or to a charity of your choice.
