RIP Fred.
Dear Mildred,
John and I were so sorry to read about Fred’s death. It’s too bad I hadn’t yet organized the long-mentioned DeLacy reunion. Fred would have been smiling, making everyone feel at ease and charming all the female relatives. We have wonderful memories of him at several Phillips Programs galas, placing the winning bid on the decorated Christmas tree with great glee.
I hope you and your family are beginning to recover from the shock of Fred’s passing, comforted by wonderful memories of your life with him. We’re certain that he is enjoying a well-earned reward.
We’d be honored to attend a memorial for him, if this suits you and your children.
With deep sympathy and much love—
Martha and John Schwieters
