Kathleen Powers Bonnevier, age 73, died April 17, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Joseph G. Bonnevier; daughter of the late Joseph and Kathleen Powers; sister of Joseph Powers. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of St. Joseph College in Windham, Maine. She was a loyal Patriots and Caps fan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 124 Park Street, SE, Vienna, Virginia 22180.

My favorite aunt who made my childhood summers a series of adventures- exploring Boston, Maine and New Hampshire. The tradition continued into adulthood as Kathy was the consummate “tourist guide” showing us around Washington, DC. I love you and miss your beautiful smile and quick laugh.
I worked with Kay many years ago at Digital Equipment Corporation. She was the mother hen to us all (although we were almost the same age). During those years, the work team (Kay, Gordon, Phil, Denise, and I) developed tight and lasting friendships. I will remember her as a giving person who loved her family above all else. She fought a good fight against cancer for a long time. I hope she is resting in peace, reunited with her parents and her beloved Joe. My sincerest sympathy to her family.
Kathy you will be dearly missed but you are safely at home with Joe and your parents and never to have to suffer again. I will miss your beautiful smile.
