Carol, Kurt, Matthew, and family, I am sorry for the loss of Lorraine. What a remarkable life she had! Hugs.
I am very sorry that this lovely lady has left your company. She used her time on Earth very wisely and will be a role model for many. May memories of her give you comfort.
We love you all and send you condolences. Your mom was so lucky to have you around and caring for her so in many ways!
Seldom are we blessed to have had a life-long friendship so honest and dependable as Deb and I have shared with Lorraine and her late husband, Walt. We will cherish the memories we had with them forever.
I send deepest sympathies to your family. Lorraine was one of the bright stars in the Coast Guard’s constellation of World War II incredible volunteer SPARs. I will miss her energy, her warm heart and her spirit of service to America. May her star shine forever in the sky.
Lorraine was a remarkable woman! We met her because of our mutual service in the U.S. Coast Guard (during different eras). She always had so many interesting stories from the World War II era. We learned so much from her and were always so amazed by her energy, especially when she published a photo book on Arlington National Cemetery when she was in her 70s. She did so much with her life and family…what an inspiration. We are truly going to miss her. My condolences to her family. May she rest in peace. Well done, Lorraine! Semper Paratus!
Dear Kurt and Mark: My sister and I met your Mother years ago in Virginia. We spent an afternoon together, walking the grounds of the former property of General R.E. Lee and Mary Custis-Lee, known the world over as Arlington National Cemetery. We shall remember Lorraine Dieterle always. Her charm, grace and beautiful spirit is forever etched into our memories. God bless you all. Rachal
