Guestbook

  1. I\’m so sorry that your family lost such a loving man. I was fortunate to have met him a few times at Chautauqua and enjoyed chatting with him and Dorothy so much. You were all blessed to have wonderful parents. The world is lonlier due to their loss.

  2. I’m so sorry that the family lost a wonderful person, I was fortunate to work for him @his house the last year. He will be missed ! My condolences to the family.

  3. The Keenans send their sincere condolences and warm wishes. Paul and Dot were my parents’ favorite people in the old Penguin Place neighborhood. It wasn’t the same when the Schmitts moved. Paul and Dot were such great people. We are taking my dad Peter Keenan out of town on July 14 for his 95th birthday party, so we are very sorry to miss the visitation and seeing the Schmitt family. We are thinking of all of you at this sad time. May happy memories sustain you.

  4. Sorry for your loss. Want you to know, we are still in Wheeling and my brothers name is Eugene Schmitt. He is 71 and lives in DC. Do not think we’re related but just was amazed at similarities. One other note, my uncle was Bishop Schmitt and his diocese was West Virginia, centered here.

  5. My condolences to the whole Schmitt family on the loss of your father and relative. I know he was a great man because of the children he and his wife raised! Will be thinking and praying for you as I remember my mom who passed on July 11th one year ago. I’m especially remembering my friends from Bishop O’Connell who I’ve had many happy memories. Feel free to email me-will be thinking about you!

  6. My sincere condolences to the family for your loss. May the promises in God’s word provide you with comfort and strength during this most difficult time. John 5:28-29
