Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Bob and I have been friends for over 60 years. He was an usher at my wedding and a Confirmation sponsor for my son. Bob and I traveled to Europe in the early 70’s. He was the navigator, translator and ambassador of good will. He was a good mentor and roll model for my son and a great dinner guest and conversationalist. Few people could match his recollections of diplomatic and historical trivia.

The Ginaitis Family: Stephen, Ginny and David.

  2. Dear Bertha and family,

We are so deeply saddened to hear about Robert’s passing. He was more than just a neighbor; he was a true cornerstone of the Hallcrest Heights community.
We’ll never forget how he and Bertha welcomed us when we first moved in, and his kindness and friendliness were a constant presence. Robert was a respectful and wise man, always ready with good advice for anyone who needed it. We’ll truly miss seeing him walk around at the end of the day and stopping to chat. His love for gardening and the beautiful flowers he nurtured, both around his home and throughout the community, were a testament to his wonderful spirit.

As we say in Portuguese, ”
“You left, and took a piece of us, but you also left a piece of yourself with us.”
Robert certainly left an indelible mark on our hearts and in our community.

Please know that we are sending you all our love and support during this incredibly difficult time.
    With heartfelt sympathy,

    The Santos Family

  3. We will always remember Rob as the kindest neighbor and a beautiful soul. His love for his wife and their adventures together was truly inspiring. He brought so much warmth, joy, and light to those around him. He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
