Roger T Pelletier passed away after a year long battle with cancer on 22 May 2025. He has born in Webster, Massachusetts and has resided in Chantilly VA since 1977. He was a beloved Husband, Father, and Pepe. He was married to Angela (Dimmock) Pelletier and they celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary 22 November 2024. He is survived by his wife, daughter Lynn (Soderstrom), sons Ian & Brian, nine grandchildren (Kurt, Emma, Erin, Kristopher, Katie, Abigail, Jacob, Megan, Grace), and 3 great grandchildren (Keegan, Macklin, & Declan). He was preceded in death by his father Theodore, mother Eva, brother Raymond, and daughter Janine.

He lead a life of service to both his country and church. He retired from the US Army after 20 years of service in the Corps of Engineers with the rank of CWO-3. He carried his skills as a cartographer into a second career with the US Forest Service and Lockheed Martin. He served as a lector and special ordinary Eucharistic minister at his parish churches. Roger also volunteered his time to many other activities including as a historical re-enactor at Sully Plantation, a traveler’s aid at Dulles Airport, and the Treasure Hound Thrift Shop to benefit the Friends of Homeless Animals.

He was a self-taught skilled craftsman and excelled in making beautiful creations with wood, painting, cross stitch, and weaving. When he was not spending time with his family or working on artistic projects he enjoyed embracing the challenge of assembling complex jigsaw puzzles.

Arrangements: The family will be accepting visitors during a Visitation at the Money & King Funeral Home (171 Maple Ave W, Vienna VA) from 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday 28 May. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Timothy’s Catholic Church (13807 Poplar Tree Rd, Chantilly VA) at 10:00 AM on Thursday 29 May with a reception to follow in the church hall. Internment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later time.
