It is with saddened heart we announce that Ruby Sunnia Cunje (née Madhoo) born

November 12,1931 departed this life peacefully on January 19, 2024. She was the

daughter of the late Sukry and Madhoo of No. 7 Village, West Coast Berbice and the

last of her siblings to depart this life. Wife of the late Gabriel Cunje Snr.

Mother of Gabriel Jr./Monte (Malini), Leonard/Lenny (Kim) both deceased, Arnold/Boni

(Salomie), Dennis, Roxanne (Rafi) and Carol (Moses).

She is survived by eight grandchildren: Andrew (Ashley), Brandon (Meghan), Crystal,

Ashton (Kimberly), Liane, Alister (Cassandra), Ian, and Joshua, as well as five great-

grandchildren.

Ruby was well-loved and respected by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and

friends. She will be missed by us all.
