  1. My tears will water these trees……………I will always be in awe of you…..Say hello to our parents and Maria….With love from Skip.

  2. Ross was one of the nicest people I have ever met. It was a pleasure dining with him monthly on Tuesday nights. With heartfelt condolences.

  3. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. Ross, whom I have known since I was deputy director of Radio Free Europe back in the early ‘80s, seemed perpetually young. It was not only the schoolboy haircut but his Puckish personality. We were in touch just a few weeks ago, as I sought his help with a novel I am writing that includes a chapter on RFE. He was a dear and faithful friend to me and to so many others. What a wonderful man! His was a life well lived. The world is just a bit poorer and less joyful. Rest In Peace, my friend.
