Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Dear Chip, Chris, Cathy, Denise and the “kids”, My sympathy to you all. With that comes the recognition that Barbara’s long life may not have been as long without your loving care. Barbara was a delightful, spirited soul with such good honest humor and positive outlook but it’s not always easy to be so caring. I am sure no matter how the years affected her, she was well aware of that love. My memories of Barbara are early ones, mostly before my John died. We often went to Baden and you all often came to Oil City where we seemed to revolve a great deal around food – Martha’s noodle making and Barbara’s nut roll (that especially at Easter) to name a few memorable ones. Your mom always, always was so full of laughter! Your mom, dad and sweet Bridgit came for a week’s visit after we moved to Florida. Other than the nursing stories wherein I thought my girls and Bridgit would shun childbirth (lol), the week was a delight. Your mom flew home with a gardenia in her hair, laughing at herself but very very pleased. It’s a visual memory of her that day that has always stayed with me. Relish your many memories. They will remain and pop up here and there unexpectedly but most welcome. I like to think that the gathering with Bridgit, your dad, Martha and John will be most special. Much love to you all. “Ant Liz”

    • GOD bless you all. You have been excellent caretakers of my dear aunt. I will miss her but I don’t ever think I will forget her laugh. One of a kind. Love you guys.

  2. I remember Barb from her days at SVH. She and I had a mutual friend, Millie Gover, and I think back to those days when Barb would plan wonderful meals at the holidays. It sounds as if she had a wonderful life and a wonderful family. Rest in Peace, beautiful lady.

  3. I have created many memories with Grammy over the years. I was blessed to have met her in September of 2014. We became instant friends and would joke about being best friends (although that was the truth). We enjoyed the company of one another and would laugh and sing on many occasions. You could recognize her laugh 100 miles away! She will TRULY be missed. I send my thoughts and love to the Muha family. I think that there would be no better time to use her famous quote, “God bless America and all the ships at sea!” -Terneice Dunning ❤️?

  4. Sincere condolences to family and friends of Mrs. Muha. I have nothing but find memories of working with her at Sewickley Valley Hospital close to 50 years ago. Not only was she an excellent nurse and supervisor, she had high integrity and a lovely disposition . May she rest in paradise thru eternity.
