Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. As a family member who never had the privilege of meeting this wonderful woman, I would like to say that in general, knowing her through stories has made me miss the opportunity to have known her. From stories of her incredible laugh to the smile that radiates from each picture of her to what seemed to be a patient and loving personality, sweet Carmi will be missed and always remembered. May the Lord bless and comfort the family in this time of remembering and celebrating this wonderful matriarch.

  2. My grandmother was an incredible woman. It’s always in these times that we always wish and want more time. She had sass, humor, and the best laugh I have ever heard. I am beyond grateful to have had the time that I did have with her and those memories are imbedded in my mind. I know she’s laughing with the Lord now and that makes me so happy!

  3. I am so saddened to learn of Carm Manetti’s death. Our young family moved across the street from Carm, Howard, and their three children in the Spring of 1967. We had moved from San Francisco for a two year tour with the Federal Government. Our boys were 18 and 6 months old. We had another son in April, 1968. Carm was just the very best neighbor a young mother could have. Loving, wise, calm, generous, talented (and a wonderful cook/baker whose recipes I still use) are just a few of my memories of her friendship. I depended on her for advice on all sorts of subjects. One funny (in hindsight) memory happened when I tried to highlight my hair. The results were highlighted hair in polka dots. I called Carm in despair. She had the answer – color it and with that she dashed to DART Drug (!) and brought me a brown color kit that covered the disastrous bleached spots! Everyone loved Carm. I am so sorry that I never reconnected after we moved back to McLean in the mid-70’s. My very deepest condolences to Howard, Vicki, Jeanne, and Howard, their spouses, children, and their children. Gail Davenport, Arlington

  4. Blessings and prayers to all the Manetti Family from all the Beaulieu Family. Carmie will be truly missed and may she rest in peace now. xo
