Christine M. Caprino

Christine Caprino, 101, formerly of Vero Beach, FL passed away on September 19, 2021, peacefully, in her sleep, while her daughter held her hand. She is survived by her daughter Mary, son Charley, daughter Nina, son-in-law Joey, daughter Francy, her seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Born on the 4th of July, she was always a firecracker and the life of the party. She met the love of her life, Colonel Charles T. Caprino, at Ft. Hamilton in New York. It was like the movie, “An Officer and a Gentleman”. He swept her off her feet and, together with their growing family, they lived all over the world. They retired to Vero Beach, were they had lots of fun playing in the sun. She spent the last four years of her life in Virginia, surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be held at Saint Mark Catholic Church in Vienna, Virginia at 2 pm on Saturday, October 23. Chris will join Charlie at Arlington Cemetery in a private ceremony.
