Dawn Anne Thomas, 67, of Fairfax, VA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Family and friends will meet Friday June 17, 2022, at Flint Hill Cemetery in Vienna, VA for a 11:00am graveside service. Friends may greet the family Thursday June 16, 2022, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Money & King Funeral home in Vienna, VA.
Dawn was born on November 24, 1954 to parents Peggy J. Whitt and Lester H. Poole in Fairfax, VA. She was a loyal daughter, loving sister and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be remembered by all who knew her for her beautiful smile, kind heart, generosity and commitment to family.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Richard Thomas; two loving sons Jimmy (Jodi) Thomas and Bradley (Katie) Thomas of Aldie, VA; four very much loved grandchildren, Riley, Kendall, Vivianne, and Bradley Jr.; Her mother Peggy Whitt; two sisters Jill (Richard) Poole and Daryn (Jim) Flather; brother Jack Poole; several nieces and nephews, other loved ones and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her father Lester H. Poole.
