De Xuan, 91, of Ashburn passed away peacefully at her home on February 17, 2019. She was born in China and was predeceased by her beloved husband Jiang Cao. She is survived by her adored children, QingQiu Cao (62) and Jie Cao (57), her step children QiZhong Cao (79), QiRen Cao (78), her beloved grandchildren Sissi Wang and Amy He, her greatgrandchild RuiXuan Zhang, her brothers and sisters of China and extended Xuan’s family.

De was a retired administrator at a public library in China. Through her compassion, lighthearted nature, and strong Christian faith, De formed a wide circle of friendships with people from all walks of life. She loved her extended family and friends as her own and truly relished her time with all of them. Her ability to connect, lift people up, and walk alongside them in joy and sadness was incredibly special. Her warm smile has been described by many as a light, one that will be missed by all and remembered forever.
