Eileen Mary Crowell Bell

Eileen "Leeny" Bell beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt passed away on January 6, 2020 at the age of 70.
Leeny was born July 10, 1949 in Englewood, NJ to Frank and Marge Crowell and grew up in Leonia, NJ. She married her high school sweetheart Charles Bell on April 4, 1970. She had her first daughter Karen Maureen in 1974 and her second Kristen Colleen in1976. The family moved to Herndon, VA in 1989 where she lived out the rest of her life.
She worked as a Radiology Imaging Technologist for over 40 years. She started at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital In New York and retired from Fairfax Radiology in 2016.
Eileen was a dedicated mother and treasured her daughters. She especially loved being a Grandma. Her five granddaughters were everything to her.
Leeny will be deeply missed and is survived by her husband Charlie, daughters, Karen Guidry and Kristen Asuncion, Son-in-laws Drew Guidry & Mark Asuncion, granddaughters Alexis Fisher, Alyssa Fisher, Rowan Asuncion, Madison Guidry & Adrianne Guidry. Her sisters Regina Sherman (Randy Sherman) and Marilyn Hoover, sister-in-law Kathy Dame and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was proceeded in death by her loving parents Francis Crowell & Margaret McPartland Crowell, her brothers Francis and Gerald Crowell.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
