Frank A. Palumbo

On Tuesday, June 16, 2020 Frank A. Palumbo, of Vienna, VA loving husband, father, and

grandfather passed away at the age of 90.

Frank was born in the Bronx, N.Y. and attended Columbus High School. After high school he

served in the U.S. Army. Following his discharge from the Army, he became a New York Fireman with Ladder 44 and served as an officer for The Uniformed Firefighters Association (UFA). Frank ended his distinguished career as the Secretary Treasurer of the IAFF from 1972-1980.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Constance, his children Barbara, Joseph and Lorraine, 7

grandchildren, 2 great grandsons, his brother Victor, his sister Irene and many nieces and

nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lena, his brother Joseph, his

sister Ann.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Frank’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
