Guity Khosrovi Jaboori (Age 86) of Fairfax, Va. passed away on Tuesday February 9, 2021 in Reston Hospital Center while surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her two sons Kasra and Kayvan, from Fairfax and Clifton, Va., granddaughters Jaleh Snell (Brett) of Charleston, S.C., and Julia Jaboori of Sterling, Va. and three great-grandchildren, Winnie, Axel, and Juniper. She lost her husband of 59 years in 2013. Guity enjoyed her career as a school teacher in Tehran. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1975. She was put to rest in peace at National Memorial Park on Monday February 15, 2021. Funeral services were private.

Rooheshan Shad, Giti joon’s love and memory will stay in our hearts! I never forget how kind, lovely and sweet Giti joon always was, that summer when Fereshteh and I visited her for Jaleh’s wedding. Giti joon made us delicious food and she was so happy and excited about Jaleh’s wedding and us staying at her house. At nights playing Rammi with Giti joon, Kayvon, and Fereshteh. I loved Giti joon and her laugh, I’m so happy I decided to spend time with her last August when I had a few hours of layover arriving from Geneva and connecting in DC, and I never forget how happy she was that I decided to let Kayvon know of my layover so I could spend time with Giti joon and Kayvon, unfortunately Kasra was out of town!
