  1. Captain Jack as a lot of us new him by, was a great mentor for me. He took me under his wing. He taught me how to pitch slow pitch softball ,how to make hummer batting practice a place to come to for not only batting practice but also fielding practice. Also how to make a safer infield there removing the grass that the county didn’t remove on the infield. Coming early to help me field the ball and throw. He had a way of making oneself feel better about themselves. He shirley will be missed.

  2. As with so many things, the value of one’s life is not measured by quantity, but quality. Jack Frost’s life was the very definition of quality. I shall always try to follow his example of uncompromised integrity, wonderful sense of humor and a fierce “can do” attitude. Everyone who served with Jack in the military, all his softball buddies, business associates, his family and friends know what I’m talking about. Jack was loyal, had a tireless work ethic and an incredible sense of determination. I miss you dearly Jack…your presence, your energy, your laugh. Goodbye my good friend. Arthur Martin, Wynnewood, PA

  3. I first met Jack while playing softball in NVSS. A good softball player and individual! I wish our paths would have crossed earlier. Jack will be missed! Our condolences and prayers to members of the family! Mark Kirley

  4. Jack and I were fraternity brothers in college; hard to believe that we’ve known each other for over 50 years! After many years of separation , we reunited last year and managed to get in a number of really enjoyable Mexican lunches together before his passing. I was struck during those meets with Jack’s grace and fortitude in the face of his medical outlook and his enthusiasm for living the time he had left. Of course, this enthusiasm was an extension of all of his life-Jack was a guy who put it all out there: Marine Corps pilot, motivational speaker, company CEO, and lately softball player extraordinaire. It is with great sadness today that I must say goodbye and God speed. I will miss his quick wit , infectious laugh, and our Mexican lunches. My heartfelt condolences to Susan and the boys; wish I could be with you today. Love Jeff

  5. I only knew Jack through senior softball;he was a very worthy competitor and an excellent teammate. Every time we spoke, I reminded him that he was the only pitcher in the league to cover first base on a ground ball to the right side. He bravely fought his disease with the same persistence and spirit that he played the game. Rest in Peace Jack and “let’s play two”
