Joan Elaine Rigney Brown

Joan Elaine Rigney Brown passed peacefully on December 31st. Born March 11, 1955 in Radford, VA. She is survived by her husband, Steve Brown; children, Michael Brown, Jessica Brown Miller, and Robert Brown; mother, Vivian Rigney; sister, Janet Sylvester; son-in-law, Ed Miller, daughter-in-law, Anna Claire Brown; and many loving aunts and cousins. She dearly loved working with children at several Prince William County schools for over 20 years. Joan was a very compassionate individual. She was an avid animal lover, gardener and cook. Joan was predeceased by her father James Rigney, and her sister Jennifer Rigney.

A memorial service will be held at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 11am. For those unable to join in person the service will be livestreamed via the link below.
