Ken, born January 12, 1929, passed away August 27, 2022, with his beloved wife, Mahin Farley, and his family at his side.

Born in the coal mining town of Winding Gulf, WV, he joined the US Airforce in 1946 where he participated in the Berlin Airlift, supplying much needed aid to more than 2,000,000 Berliners. Ken went on to serve in the Korean war as a signal officer until his honorable discharge in 1953.

Ken settled in northern Virginia, where he worked for the Government Printing Office until his retirement. He was an avid bowler and golfer, bowling a perfect 300 and sinking 2 holes-in-one while in his 80’s.

Ken is survived by his bride of 39 years, Mahin Farley, and was a father to his daughters Vickie Lefebvre, Sherry Leonard and Tammy Farley (deceased), and step-sons Rod and Ramin Cyrus. Ken was also a grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Ken will be interred at National Memorial Park Cemetery in Virginia.
