Lois Haines Culler

Lois Haines Culler, age 65, of Fairfax, VA, passed away on April 21, 2023. Born in Latrobe, PA. Survived by husband, Paul, and children, Sarah, Daniel (Ashleigh), and Ben (Megan), and two grandsons, Silas and James.
Lois graduated from Wittenberg University with a degree in biology, and Catholic University where she obtained her Masters in Library and Information Science. She worked at the George Washington University Medical School Library and then worked at Inova Health System as Director of Inova Health Sciences Library for 34 years. In 2007 she and Paul established Fair Trade Winds, a family-run retail business focusing on promoting social and economic justice through fair trade.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax, VA on Friday, April 28th at 11:00 am with a luncheon following. In lieu of flowers, you may honor Lois with a donation made to Life with Cancer, a program of the Inova Schar Cancer Institute.

Lois was a wonderful colleague and support in the work that I did in my 32 years at Inova. I could always count on her and her team to find any information that I needed. I also loved the Fair Trade Winds Store. She was truly a tower of strength for learning at Inova and will be missed.
