Marisa A. McGettigan, of McLean, passed away on March 8, 2020, after a 2-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Beloved wife of Victor Russillo, daughter of Edward and Titina McGettigan (both deceased). Memorial services will be held at a future date and place to be determined. I’m so sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort help you during this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4 & Psalms 83:18). Jesus prayed for God’s Kingdom to come because He knew it would be able to solve all mankind’s problems even death. (Revelation 21:4,5 & Daniel 2:44).
Miss your courageous spirit, your warm humor, your sunny smile. The world is not the same without you, my friend.
I will always remember hanging out at your parents, eating your mom’s amazing food, going out on Red Cross standbys, canoeing, touring Italy with you, going to Irish pubs and Schooner Fare concerts, playing Bogle and so much more. We were friends since high school and I feel like I’ve lost a part of my childhood. I miss you.
I knew Marisa for many years, but those two years in NY bonded us in a special way. Rest In Peace, sweet Marisa. ?
Mohamed and I are so saddened by your loss. We had just begun to get to know this elegant woman and her loving husband Vic. She had a special presence, warm and welcoming. We’ll treasure our special moments spent together. Elaine
