Guestbook

  1. I will always remember Myrtle! Just a week before she passed, we talked about her move to Sunrise, her family – children and grandchildren and especially her loving husband Jim! Myrtle was a Mentor to me and taught me how to be an office professional with grace and dignity. I will always cherish those years at OLGC for years to come! Please accept our heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Rest In Peace Myrtle! Joan and George Dove

  2. Oh my dearest Mum…like I called you, I could never call you by your name, also i couldn’t pronouce your name right because of my thick african accent 🙂 You touched my life with love and patience! Anytime we spoke was always so refreshing! I cherish the time i spent with you and your family as your caregiver. You thought me everything i know about building and keeping a home…..I really do miss you alot! But till we meet to part no more. Ugoamaka Badamosi.

  4. Chris and all of the Caldwell Family, So sorry to hear of your loss our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you at such a sad time. Jodee & Sam Hunt

  5. Chris, what a beautiful life your mother lived, filled with love and giving. Your family is fortunate to have had her with you for so long. She has obviously passed her grace and compassion to you. My thoughts are with you and your whole family, sending strength and love.

  6. The Caldwells were our next door neighbors in Vienna for about 12 years while I was growing up. We wandered in and out of their house like it was our own, and Mrs. Caldwell was our 2nd mom, only less bossy! Tom Manchester Rancho Palos Verdes, CA

  7. My name is Steve Manchester. I grew up living next door to the Caldwells on Cottage Street in the 1950s and 60s. My brothers and I played with Jimmy and Chris in the backyard. I split open my finger on the swing set one summer. My mother didn’t drive so Myrtle drove us to the doctor for me to get stitches in that finger. I still have a scar on my right index finger.
