Ron Rigsbee, 74, passed away in the presence of loving friends on Tuesday, Oct 22, 2019. He is survived by his brother, George Robert Rigsbee. He had been a resident of the Lewinsville Retirement Residence for the last 10 years, though he traveled from coast to coast, he lived in the Northern Virginia area for the last 40 years. He was an active member of Shepherd Gate Church in Chantilly, VA.

In the last years of his life, before his illness made him homebound, Ron was a wonderful Evangelist, Minister, Counselor, going around the area to various churches declaring the Redemptive Love of God, soaking up as much as he could of the marvelous ways of His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

He was a man of many interests and talents; he served in the United States Navy, had a brief career as an actor, worked at Dusquesne University, got his pilot license, loved to play poker and became a dealer out in Las Vegas. He also got his Realtor License and worked for a Title company, was a much loved school bus driver and tour bus driver, and a short stint as a mobile cook on his food truck, Good Eats.

Ron always said, "I was born again in March of 1977", when he gave his life entirely to the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus redeemed and renewed him. He wrote his biography, The Agony of Deception, explaining how Jesus took him from sin and deception to love, forgiveness and glory, completely renewing and restoring him.

A memorial service will be held at Shepherd Gate Church in Chantilly, VA, on Sunday, October, 27, 2019 at 3 pm. Enternment will be on Monday, October 28, 2019, at 11 am at National Memorial Park in Falls Church.
