Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Warren, you have much sympathy from me. I know you cared for Stan in recent years, a time I regret not being closer to him. Stan and I spent many happy hours together in our youth. I hope that happy memories of your family help you deal with this painful loss. Lorna Totman

  2. My family and I will continue to be in prayer for you, Warren, as you cope with the earthly absence of your dear brother. We regret that we were never able to meet Stanley, but because we know you, we have some idea of the fine person he must have been. May you feel lifted up by the love of those, like us, who are blessed to call you our friend.

  3. When I was a young child, seeing Mr. Underwood’s truck was always a treat! He had a “hand” on the back windshield wiper that was always fun to wave at. Halloween treats were typically quarters which also was delightful. May his memory be a blessing for all who knew him.

  4. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family especially his brother Warren. May you all be comforted with the knowledge of a life well-lived.

  5. Warren, my deepest sympathy to you in the loss of your dear brother Stanley. I know that you have been so caring and thoughtful in your care of him over these last several years. As you know so well, Stanley was a high classmate with me in the Fairfax High School Class of 1956. My memories of those years always include the Underwood brothers and particularly our good times in the Oakton Methodist Youth Fellowship. Your entire family fills my memories of the decades of my youth and the years after in the community. I hope that your memories of your family and the many good times that you shared with Stanley help you pass through this time of loss. I and your many friends are here to support you. Love, Barbara Fisher

  6. Growing up in Oakton, I knew the family well, as we all went to Oakton Methodist. I am sorry to read that Ray and Stanley have gone on, but am happy that they are now in a better place.

  7. Stanley was one of my favorite teachers at Holston High. My deepest sympathy to his family. It sounds like he impacted many lives in his time on earth. RIP.
