  1. We spent many late nights working on proposals together! Your talent for all the details and creative approaches plus your ever present dry sense of humor made it enjoyable to work together day and night to help grow Omniplex for so many years! We are sure God has a special place in heaven for you. Terri & Julien Patterson

  2. I worked with Steve for 18 years at OMNIPLEX. I depended on him greatly to run the department and he never disappointed. He understood his job well and was a great manager for those that worked for him. He knew how to balance leading while at the same time letting people do their jobs. He was instrumental in getting proposals out the door even when it required all nighters to do so. He had a great sense of humor and his knowledge of trivia was unparalleled. He was my go-to guy any time I needed that obscure fact. He was the one that introduced the term “jumped the shark” to me which I now use way too often. May God bless him and his family. Bill Turk

  3. The beauty of knowing Steve is that he was everything you needed him to be, whenever the time or place. Over time, I felt like Steve was a friend, co-worker, brother, father-figure, and also gave me the advice and support I needed in every situation. I was immensely helped and comforted by Steve’s friendship over the years. He will be greatly missed, but his guidance, wisdom, and knowledge will live on, and always be remembered by me.
