Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. “Aunt Ginny” (and “Uncle Dick”) made us a part of their family by heart family immediately when we moved from Kansas to Virginia 48 years ago! We shared a lot of good memories including making sure Wayne’s mom,Erma, had a fantastic sightseeing trip in DC that they knew so well!! It was very memorable. Ginny will be missed – RIP dear lady. With this message comes our love for Joyce Cutsail & her family , Loudelle & her family and Evelyn & her family as well as Kris & Jimmy McLaughlin. Thinking of you all. Wayne and Judy Hillshafer and family

  2. Blessings and prayers from Karen, wife of Steve Grimes, who I believe was waiting for his Aunt to arrive in heaven❤️

  3. Ginny, How are things at Home? I know you are happy now with all our loved ones who welcomed you there. The Basil Henry Grimes Family will be complete when Evelyn and I get there for a great reunion day! I am proud of our special family. Love, your sister, Loudelle Grimes Padgett

  4. Ginny, I have so many wonderful memories of you. This past June I have had a stroke which has prevented me from speaking like I used to. I really miss talking with you. There are so many memories that I could talk about but the most was how good you were to me. My children also have many good memories of coming back to visit you and Dick. You both left such a good impression on them. I know we will be together again in Heaven. I look forward to that day! I love you Ginny, Evelyn

  5. How many years she could recall Spending happy holidays with family and all But a cruel and dark stranger came on the scene Spreading its sickness, like a silent, bad dream And when it came to knock on her door Thinking it would harm her like others before She just closed her eyes to dream of a Land Where loved ones had gone, and they now took her hand But she stopped to look back with a message so clear, “There’s nothing in this journey, dear family, to fear Dear loved ones behind, I love you still And we’ll spend Christmas one day here in Heaven but until Your journey, too, on earth first is done Then we’ll celebrate in Heaven battles we’ve won Heaven will be complete with our family all home With none of our family on earth all alone So trust in God’s plan, He’ll never leave you We’re closer than we think, because He’s with me, too I’m spending my first holidays in Heaven this year With the rest of our loved ones who are already here We’ll wait as you come to Heaven’s golden gate The joy of us all there, I can hardly wait But the greatest of all will be when I see Our dear Lord and Saviour looking at me I’ll thank Him for dying and living for me And the promise of a glad reunion with all our family!” Written with love for Aunt Ginny by Michele Padgett
