Alan W. Joyce (age 63) of Vienna, Virginia on December 14, 2008 at Fairfax Hospital. Beloved husband of Margie Joyce; devoted father of Arwen Joyce, Megan Joyce, & May Lieppert. Also survived by two sisters, Anne Marie Henderson (Tim) & Elaine Cavallo (Jim).

We were so sorry to learn of Alan’s passing and we extend our heartfelt sympathy to Margie and his family. We served and worked with Alan over the years, including Japan, and we always found Alan to be great contributor to the mission of the U.S. Government.
