Lee, I worked with Al in Vietnam on IWCS and am sorry to hear about his death. My wife Jeannette, who also worked with us in Vietnam, also died of cancer seven years ago so I can appreciate what you are going through now. Your grief is unbearable now, but things will get better. Lee Dietz
May he rest in peace.
Dear Lee, I read in The Washington Post today about your Albert’s passing away. We are saddened by the loss of your dear husband. Our condolences to you and your family. May his soul rest in peace. May you draw closer to God during this time of grieving. God has taken away a loved one, who will be sorely missed. Albert is now safely home. “Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our tribulation.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4a Sincerely, Alex and Jean Miravite
Al will always be remembered as one of the finest Field Engineers Page ever had. But he will also be remembered, by his friends, as someone who was always ready to listen and help with problems being experienced by others. He never lost his sense of humor. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to know and work with Al. God be with him.
I never had the pleasure of meeting you Lee, but Al always told me about you. I worked with Al at GD for a few years and always respected his judgment and attitude. My Sincere Condolences, Tom Humphreys
I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Al’s passing. My heart goes out to all of the family and especially to Tita. I wish that you find comfort in that he is in a better place. Love and hugs, Michelle
Our hearts go out to Lee, Al’s beloved wife. We worked and lived next to both Al and Lee in Saudi Arabia years ago, and the respect they deserved will never be forgotten. Al was a special person and was leader of the workforce.
Dear Lee, and the entire Piepho family. It, undoubtly, is unbelieble and sad to know of the passing away of Al. I’m very sorry and share your grief. May he rest in peace. I will always remember him, as a very good and kind co-worker and friend. He is now in a better place. Please accept my sincerest and deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences. May time and the mercy of our Lord heal your sorrow. Sincerely, Hugo and Lluvi,
