May Alice rest in peace with all of our beloved rabbits who I am sure greeted her as she entered heaven. My deepest condolences to her family and friends and a thank you to Alice for all she did to help the cause of rabbits.
I don’t believe I ever had the pleasure of meeting Alice at any House Rabbit Sanctuary events, but anyone who loves rabbits is a friend of mine. I extend my condolences to Alice’s dear friends and family.
Larry and Family, I had the pleasure of working with Alice at Brookfield and I remember Alice as always being on top of her game and always contributing 100% as a team player. She was so dedicated to her own children as well as those she taught. I will never forget how hard she worked for the Chantilly HS Show Choir; sewing costumes and etc. Most of all, I will never forget her beautiful voice when she sang and I’m sure she’s up there in heaven just singing away!! I extend my smypathy and my thoughts are prayers are with you all during this sorrowful time. Sincerely, Jennifer Kirchmeyer
Larey and Family, I had the pleasure of working with Alice at Brookfield in the early 90’s and I remember Alice as always being on top of her game and always contributing 101% as a team player. She was so dedicated to her own children, as well as those she taught. I will never forget how hard she worked for the Chantilly HS Show Choir; sewing costumes and etc. Most of all, I will never forget her beautiful voice when she sang and I’m sure she’s up there in heaven singing away!! I extend my smypathy and my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sorrowful time. Sincerely, Jennifer Kirchmeyer
The rabbits lost a dear friend. God bless and keep you, Alice. I imagine you were met by all the rabbits you helped over the years and who eventually went to the Bridge. You are now truly in Heaven. May God comfort your family in this very sad time. (And hugs to Edison!)
Dear Seery Family, I also worked with Alice at Brookfield during the 90’s…I too was an LD IA..she was very dedicated to the many children she worked with over the years and her energy and enthusiasm for them was endless. My own children attended Brookfield and they both remember her fondly. She was a wonderful person who will never be forgotten, she touched so many lives. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family. The Bagford Family
To The Seery Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Alice, her Mom, Cosma, her Aunts Rhea and Toodie, and cousin Dawn kept me smiling and full for over 7 years. I ate every day at their lunch trailer during the constuction of Walter Reed Hosp. in D.C. It was in the 70’s but I remember them all like it was yesterday. I was a machine repairman for Coca Cola and always fixed their kitchen equipment. Alice and Dawn were always at the window to greet everyone. Rhea behind the grill flipping burgers. Cosma and Tootie prepairing foods. Their Uncle got me a better job at Frito-Lay where he was a manager. I have so many memeories of Alice and her family I can’t begin to list them all. I know she will be greatly missed. God Bless all of you in your time of sorrow. Big Mike (The Coke Man)
Larey, Carrie & Adam, We will miss Alice more than you can imagine. We had become closer over the years with Woman’s Club then with the Harleys. We shared so many wonderful times. Many times we would end up at the Seery’s house for food and friendship. Things will never be the same but I am sure that she is with God and we are thankful that her suffering is over. She will always be remembered with happy memories.
Larey and family, I am very saddened to hear of Alice’s passing last week. I wanted to thank you all so much for opening your home to me to visit her. That’s how I’ll remember Alice-always welcoming to so many of us.
Larey, Carey & Adam, I was very sorry to hear of Alice’s passing. I know she’s now in a peaceful place looking down from above to guide you through everything. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Dear Seery Family, I very fondly remember the role Mrs. Seery played in some of the best times of my high school career. Her dedication to the kids in Show Choir was felt and appreciated by all of us. My family extends our deepest condolences at this sad time. Sincerely, Karen Kiely Combs and Justin Combs John and Janet Kiely
Dear Larey, Carrie and Adam, We are so sorry for your loss. Alice will be missed by so many people. We have such great memories of fun times with Alice. The Annual trips to Shenandoah Acres when our families were younger were wonderful. Alice loved every part of those weekends! She loved watching the kids play in the water, laughing with the adults around the campfire and making campfire pies. Our thoughts are with all of you. Joyce, Mark, Chris, Brian and Justin Burd
Larey, Carrie and Adam, We will never forget Alice. We vividly remember sitting next to her at Nicole Johnson’s wedding, she had us laughing so hard! We also enjoyed riding with Larey and Alice, and my parents, Diane and Sparkie, into D.C. for Rolling Thunder on our motorcycles. Alice was truly a wonderful friend, very thoughtful and giving. We will miss her terribly. Our hearts and prayers are with you.
We will remember Alice for her great kindness and love for rabbits. She was such a sweet lady. We met her at the House Rabbit Sanctuary fundraisers where she provided wonderful food for us to enjoy. Our condolences to her family and her bunny, Edison. We mourn her passing.
Dearest Larey, Carrie and Adam, We will remember Alice the way she was…Kind, Loving and Always thinking of others. We only wish we would have spent more time with all of you in the recent years. The time we have spent with Alice will always be cherished. Love Mark, Kim and Sailor Hawes
Alice was a wonderful woman and did so much to help people and rabbits. I will always remember her smiling face and the wonderful times at the House Rabbit Sanctuary events where she always had a big smile as she was donating yummy goodies and refilling platters. I especially remember the wonderful event at her beautiful home in the Spring of 2005. She will be missed by so many as she touched many, many lives. She is at peace now. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family. I will keep you, and Edison, in my thoughts and prayers.
When I had the pleasure of being Carey’s kindergarten teacher at Brookfield, Alice was so welcoming and supportive! I can still remember her gracious invitation to lunch at her home, shared happily with Carey and Adam (and the rabbits not too far away!). I am so sorry for your loss! With good memories, Gerri Hill
