God Bless the Frank family…. I can attest to Alma’s memory, very sharp. The Lovelace’s
Our condolences, Greg, Jim and family. Your mother was a wonderful lady and I know it was very hard for you to say goodbye. I would like to share this poem with you for comfort: God saw your mom was getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around her and whispered, “Come with Me”. With tear-filled eyes we watched her suffer and fade away. Although we loved her deeply, We could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands put to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. … by Nancy Rose Bouchard
Larry and I are very saddened to learn of Alma’s passing. Please accept our condolences and know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of Alma’s family and friends. Larry knew Alma for many, many years through his parents, Agnes and Jack Galey. I had the pleasure of meeting Alma in early January this year when my mother-in-law, Agnes, passed. Although brief, I enjoyed our conversation and was struck by Alma’s warmth and kind nature and have thought of her frequently since then. May she rest in peace.
We have been so very lucky to have Alma as our neighbor for these past 17 years. She had a quick and funny wit, but was always kind. She could always get a laugh from our shared neighbors, John (Katchmer)and Sheldon (Gay). I recall a spring day when all three were together sharing stories about the neighborhood in the 60s – the fields that were here, and how quiet Beulah Road used to be. She enjoyed good conversation; it was always a pleasure to talk with her. Thank you Paul, Jimmy, Greg and Kathy for caring for her so that she could stay in her home across the street. Eric, Sarah and I will miss her very much.
condolences good friends we shall always remember you all. we are unable to drive so travel is difficult. we shall never forget you and all the memories God bless
I was so sorry to hear about Alma’s passing. She was a very kind and gracious lady who showed great friendship for my father, Shelton Gay, after my mother’s passing. She and Carol Weitz “rescued” him when he had fallen and was unable to call for help. The folks on John Marshall Drive have lost a great friend and neighbor. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
Dear Greg, Jim and Family, My deepest sympathy in the loss of your mother. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Debbie Townsend and Family
My mother was a customer of Alma’s at the bank. I had so much caring assistance helping my Mother, Alma became our friend. Alma went above and beyond her duties as a banker and became a caring and loving friend to all of her customers.
I just read the obituary. I knew the Frank family when I was in elementary school. Greg was my best friend. I have many fond memories of Mrs. Frank. She was like a second mom. God Bless Mrs. Frank.
