Alvin A. Pettitt, of Winchester, VA, formerly of Vienna, VA, died on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Winchester Medical Center. Loving husband of the late Elizabeth Pettitt; devoted father of Alvin M. Pettitt; cherished grandfather of Jamie Pettitt (Cindy), Jeremy Collins (Leah), Karry Herndon (William) and Sarah Harless (Brandon). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, Bailey Pettitt, Jordan Pettitt, Isabela Cruz, Christian Cruz, Kelsi Harless and Bradley Herndon. Relatives and friends are invited to Alvin's Life Celebration at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Thursday, November 29 from 6-8 PM and where a funeral service will be held on Friday, November 30 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at National Memorial Park.
