Ann was such a fun person to be with. I always enjoyed her company whether it was at a retirement group lunch, happy hour get-together, or a trip to someplace interesting. I will miss her and my condolences go out to her family.
The sudden loss of my younger (10 years) sister was a great shock. Her strength of character was shown in overcoming the loss of her husband, Bob, which was itself a testament to her as she went on to have nine years of active life in Vienna, Virginia and her world travels. Her love for her children and grandchildren also showed this strength. I remember our younger years when I teased her about her many Stow High School activities. She was a bride’s maid in Carolyn and my wedding. I watched he go off to Mount Union College, where all her family had gone, and meet Bob there. I saw her move around Pennsylvania and New York, before settling in Vienna. Carolyn and I so enjoyed our last visit this past August. We shared our families coming and goings, as well as reminiscing on our departed loved ones.
Beth, Joann and I send our deepest condolences to you and your family at this difficult time, and are saddened to hear of the passing of your dear mother With our sympathies Bob
Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family. We shared some good times in Vienna.
I am very sorry to hear of Ann’s passing. We spent many years together in Stow, Ohio schools, and in Girl Scouts. Her mom was like a mom to all us girls too. She was loved and will be missed by many for sure.
I was so saddened to hear of the passing of a wonderful colleague and friend. Ann & I spent many years working at Providence Savings & Loan together. To Ann’s entire family, I send my deepest sympathies. & prayers. Sue Culkin
