Guestbook

  1. Anne was my first boss at VA Central Office in 1977. She had recruited me to move to Washington from the VA hospital in Bedford MA. She was a true professional and a wonderful mentor, helping me navigate through the Washington bureaucracy. She was generous in sharing her knowledge and wisdom. She was the perfect role model for me and thanks to her help I went on to a successful 30 year career in the VA. My sincere condolences to all the family. I know she rests in peace. What a wonderful woman. Greg Neuner (now retired) Ocean View, DE

  2. I first met Tante Anne when I was 10 at Sean and Kim’s wedding. She was so full of life and was very interested in talking to me even though I was just a little kid, and she even taught me my first Dutch word “Tante”. I’ll never forget the time she got to meet the president of the United States (Obama) while she was at Arlington, and I was always excited to brag about having an Aunt that was cool and important enough to have that honor. I will always remember and cherish the times I got to spend with her.

  3. We at Wesley United Methodist Church have fond memberies of Anne. She attended Wesley UMC for many years. In former years she was active in United Methodist Women an organization focused on missions in the US and world wide. In later years she was accompanied by Lisa and Michael. She was a very proud veteran. With some gentle encouragement she shared parts of her amazing life. She was also a dedicated Christian and faithful member of Wesley. Arch & Charlotte Wiggs

  4. I am so sorry to hear of my great friend and golfing partner for so many years. To her family, I say you lost a great mom and mentor. Kathy MacKenzie, Las Vegas
