Godspeed Bernie, I knew you back in the late 1940`s when we were both in our twenties. Your brother Joseph wes married to my sister Gloria. You were always a beautiful person both inside and outside. Via Condios.
We know that the prayers of your family and friends sent you up to heaven on an expidited pass! We all loved Bernie and will miss her terribly. Our condolences to all of her family. We will think of you fondly at every missed Christmas Party and at every trip to Lucianos!
Bernie was a blessing to all those who knew her. I feel so lucky to have been a part of her life. Love, Karen
Our family is spread from VT to CA to FL, but are close in our hearts. Bernadette was the youngest of the 8 MacMenamin’s, her energy was more than all her brothers combined–she never gave up–always gave her all, worked to keep in touch with family and loved us. I’d call up Aunt Bernadette & ask for advice–even when she wasn’t feeling well, she always had kind words and made me laugh. She is in our hearts forever. I hope she will always be proud of her loving family–and look down on us and guide us. I will always hear her singing in my heart–and smile when I think of how much she loved life & lived it every day. Oldest Brother’s Family: John Joseph & Lilly Neice/Nephew: Alice, John William & Carol Great: Jil & Pete, Jeff & Michelle, Johnny & Brenda, Cathy & Gene and Claire & Mark. Great Grand: KennyMac & JonCee, Mike & Sherida, JD, Juli & Ian, Amy, Heather, Ryan, Josh & Jake. Great Great Grand: Cara Jade, Gage & Torry.
I have been thinking of you all everyday. I hope that you are (as best you can) resting in God. I have found that with the comfort of family and the Lord it helps ease the pain. Donna don’t forget to breath. I am so sorry, Love you call when you get a chance.
Please accept our deepest sympathy over the loss of such an extraordinary woman. She was witty and warm and giving and always made us feel welcomed. She was an avid reader and I could always count on her to recommend a good book. She will be missed! “Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glint on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the autumn rain. When you awake in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush Of birds circling in flight. I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep.” –Northwest Indian Memorial on Death
I am sorry to hear that your mother passed away.
Bernie was always so caring, loving. Every time I saw her I was greated with a hug and a smile. I will always remember frisky and the rest of her cats and her love for all things. I will miss her deeply.
Bernie will always be in our hearts, we will never ever forget you. We will miss you lots. To family and friends we express our sincere condolences. Auf Wiedersehen!!
Rest in peace Bernadette. We love you. Love, George Michael, Sherida, Cara, Gage & Torrey
