Thank you, Bob. We greatly appreciate all your assistance with the details. It turned out just the way we wanted!
Betty was part of my Tai Chi group. She was always cheerful. We have a warm up exercise that was called “Betty’s delight”. She actually disliked it, but always laughter whenever we did it. She was a gracious lady & will be greatly missed by all of us. Chris Olson
Thank you for these kind words, Chris! Mom loved going to class with you all!
Bette has been my friend since we met as roommates at William & Mary in early 1957. We have more stories to tell than anyone could ever hear. She, Randy and I went through school and life beyond as though every time we re- connected, it was like ” a day ago”. She is a friend of a special kind. I will miss our visits, but think she was weary and ready to let go. ‘Bye, dear love. Hugs to you and your two precious daughters. Sandra (as my mother always told us both at the end of her letters– ” we love you”)
Thank you so much, Aunt Sandy! Friendships like yours are golden! We love you! ?
Bette was one of kindest people I have ever met. She had a sharp wit and kept the office humming! She was devoted to her students and helped countless people better their lives. I am so happy to have known her.
Thank you, Sheryl! It’s very comforting to hear how much others admired Mom. -~Karie
Bette was a dedicated educator, an advocate for social justice, and a gracious and delightful person. In our work together in adult education over the course of many years, she was always a pleasure to be with, and to learn from. Those of us who have known her are indeed fortunate. May she Rest In Peace, and may her loved ones continue to take joy from her memory.
Thank you, Bonita. This is a wonderful description of Mom! Thank you for your friendship and kindness!
