Betty Yaplee of Vienna, Virginia passed away March 31, 2023 with her children and grandchildren by her side.
Betty's smile was infectious, bringing light and joy to family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and baking and serving feasts for all.
The family will hold a memorial service on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 11 am from Baltimore National Cemetery, 5501 Frederick Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cure Alzheimer's Fund (www.curealz.org).

Aunt Betty is the face I see when I hear the phrase “southern charm “. Her smile and warmth when she introduced herself to me as a young, very shy girl put me at ease and a smile on my face.
