Betty L. Loar, formerly of Vienna, Va., passed away on Friday, march 10, 2017. Beloved wife of the late William H. Loar, Jr; devoted mother of Larry (Sandy) Loar and Jerry (Melissa) Loar; grandmother of Charity (Mark), Carter (Dori), Carrie (Patrick), John (Jill), Kim (Wes), Chris (Erin), Jeremy (Danielle) and Tiffany and sister of Lenora Meredith. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Money & King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, Va., on Wednesday, March 15th from 6-8 PM, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 16th at 11:00 AM. Interment National Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimers Assoc.

I always had happy feelings when around Aunt Betty – she was always smiling. Very sweet lady and will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Larry,Jerry and family, I was saddened to hear the loss of betty. Iknow the past few years has been a struggle but heaven has no illness or sadness only joy. I remember her contagious laugh,big smile and how her eyes could light the whole room. She could always make you feel better, those large problems just didn’t seem so large any more.I am blessed to have had betty a part of my life. deepest sympathy,
