Billie Ruth Kidwell, age 90, died on Monday, August 22, 2016 at her home in Vienna, Virginia. Beloved wife of Ross Kidwell; mother Polly Kidwell and Patty Christenson; sister of Mary Stuart Sioussat; grandmother of Cory Cardenas, Jake Christenson, Amber Christenson, Ashley Hall and Brooke Hall and great-grandmother of Jude Cardenas. She was eagerly awaiting the birth of a great-granddaughter.

I am so sorry to hear of Billies passing. I worked with her and Ross at the Survey. I have many fond memories of them.
To let you know that prayers are with all of you at this great time of loss. Your Mom was always so quiet but always so happy to wave whenever she saw me and Leo walk by the house or when she was in the car with your Dad. I will always treasure the memory of her as one of the originals of the Patrick Street neighborhood. But Carol was really the glue that kept us all together. God bless all of you in your sorrow. Mike and I are sorry for the loss of your mother. As we were Vienna residents, we would run into Billie and Ross while shopping. It was always great to see and talk with them. They were a lovely couple. She will be missed.
Thank you for the lovely reception at your home after the funeral yesterday. LeRoy and I worked with your parents at USGS for many years and LeRoy and Ross were good golf and ball buddies. Billie will be much missed.
