Bobbye Curran died at her residence in Hardy, VA on September 3, 2016. Bobbye lived in Vienna VA for 47 years, where, along with her husband, she owned the Vienna Advertiser newspaper from 1966-1972. She also retired from the Central Intelligence Agency in 1991. Bobbye was preceded in death by her husband, Edward (Ned) Curran, and her sister Carlyne Richardson. She is survived by her brother Jerry Hubbard, her children Bruce (Joan) Curran, Beth (Bob) Warren, and Carol Layman, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren (with a seventh due in December). Bobbye's viewing will be held at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna VA Thursday, Sept 8 from 6-8 PM, and a celebration of her life will be held at Faith Baptist Church, 301 Center St., Vienna, VA, Friday September 9 at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
