  16. My heart is crushed over the loss of Brad and his one-of-a-kind friendship. He had the most generous, joyful outlook and leaped at the chance to help people in every walk of life. It’s rare that you meet someone who instantly feels like a friend, but that’s how Brad was. In the too-short time that I knew him, he personally affected and brought hope and laughter to HUGE numbers of people… what a way to live! His guts and humor in fighting a formidible illness made him a hero to me, and no doubt to everyone he knew. I’m grateful I got to know him, and my love and thanks to Marcia, Gary, and Alicia, his remarkable family. You are all in my deepest thoughts and prayers.
