  1. I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. I knew both Carl and Diane. I worked with Carl for many years. I was just thinking about him the other day. I was on vacation when my grandmother suddently passed away. My family could not reach me, and it was Carl who called me and gave me the news. He was always an incredible intellitent person, who was sensitive, funny, and respectful. He touched the life of everyone he met. The last time I saw him, he was at the McLean Family Restaurant with his daughter. It was great to see him, and catch up with how he was doing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. RIP dear friend.

  2. I worked for Carl for many years. He was a wonderful man and a terrific manager. I often saw him and Diane at the retirement luncheons. My condolences to his family – he was very proud of all of you. We will miss him and remember him in our prayers.

  3. I am honored to have worked for Mr. Swift for several years. He was widely known and respected for his professionalism, knowledge, experience, integrity and leadership. He treated everyone with dignity and respect all the time, earning him the admiration and respect of all who knew him. To all of us, his friends and coworkers, he was truly a great American.

  4. I am so sorry for you lost. Your Dad was a good man and a great Dad. I know he will be missed. “A cardinal is a representative of a loved one who has passed. When you see one, it means they are visiting you. They usually show up when you most need them or miss them. They also make an appearance during times of celebration as well as despair to let you know they will always be with you. Look for them, they will appear.”

  5. Diane and I went to Frankfurt, Germany, to work in our early 20’s. We lived in the same apartment building and saw each other frequently. She and Carl were at my wedding and we sailed home together with their first born. We stayed in touch all these years–their deaths have greatly saddened me. My condolences especially to their children.

  6. Your Dad will be terribly missed. He was loved by many and will be in my memory forever. I will always remember him for being a wonderful dad, BBQ chef and for his sense of humor. Just remember when we lose a loved one we gain an Angel that watches over us. Debbie
